The American Embassy and MNF-I join Iraqis in sadness over the death of a national leader, His Eminence Abd al-Aziz al-Hakim. Throughout his life, His Eminence demonstrated courage and fortitude, contributing to the building of a new Iraq. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and colleagues.
