Christopher R. Hill and General Ray Odierno Condemning the Market Bombing in Sadr City

The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and Multi-National Force-Iraq strongly condemn the bombing of a Sadr City market the evening of June 24. We deplore the senseless deaths and injuries of innocent Iraqi citizens and extend our condolences to their families, friends, and community. We join the Iraqi people in denouncing all acts of terrorism and remain steadfast in our support of the people and government of Iraq in their pursuit of peace, justice, and democracy.
