On February 24, Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker spoke at an MNF-I professional development roundtable. Ambassador Crocker emphasized the importance of close coordination between military and Foreign Service officers, not only in Iraq, but throughout the world. Underscoring this theme, the Ambassador presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the Embassy Public Affairs Section’s Liaison Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Cynthia Teramae, U.S. Army, whom the Ambassador described as a superb representative of this teamwork.
