Passport Renewal
To renew a full validity U.S. passport that was when you were at least 16 years old, you must present:
- A completed and signed passport application DS-82;
- Your most recent passport;
- Two recent identical color photographs (see Photographic Requirements);
- If applicable, evidence of change of name. If your name has changed through marriage or by a court order since your last passport, submit the original or a certified copy of the relevant documents.
- An application fee of $75, payable in U.S. dollars, cash only.
Once your application is approved by the U.S. consular officer, it will be forwarded to the U.S. National Passport Center for issuance of a 10-year, photo-digitized passport. Allow up to one month for passport processing.
