Iraqi Government Designates AP as Western Media Pool

The Iraqi Government, as host of the meeting between the U.S. and Iran, has just advised us that they invited the Associated Press to cover this mornings' meeting at the Prime Minister Maliki's residence. The Iraqi Government has designated AP as the Western media pool.

As of 10:10 a.m. Ambassador Crocker had arrived and was awaiting his Iranian counterpart.
