U.S. Embassy Announces New Websites for Consulates in Basrah, Erbil, and Kirkuk
Information about programs and services offered by the three U.S. Consulates in Iraq is now available via the Internet. The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad announces that the three websites for its consulates in Basrah, Erbil, and Kirkuk are now operational. In conjunction with the Embassy’s website, the three consulate websites provide users with information about scholarships, educational advising, refugee programs, visas and other consular services, as well as the latest news and updates on U.S. programs in Iraq. The Embassy website is available in both Arabic and English. The consulate websites are only available in English at this time, but will be available in Arabic in the future.
